Frequently asked questions
How is the private server licensed?
The Enterprise license includes the right to deploy one or more servers inside your own infrastructure. Pricing depends on the number of devices (seats) and the SLA you need. Contact us for a quote.
Is this a one-time purchase or a subscription?
Both are available — it's negotiated individually. Larger organizations typically prefer an annual contract with support and updates included. A perpetual license with a separate support contract is also possible.
Can we install and maintain the server ourselves?
Yes. We provide documentation, a distribution package, and a Docker image. The initial install can be done by your team or with our help (remote or on-site). Technical support is available via a ticketing system or a dedicated Slack channel.
What about customization or integrations?
These are negotiated as part of the Enterprise agreement. Typical requests: AD/LDAP integration for SSO, custom branding, exporting the audit log to a specific SIEM, or particular network/TLS certificate requirements.
Is redundancy possible — multiple servers in a cluster?
Yes. Starting at a certain tier, an Active-Active cluster configuration is available, built on PostgreSQL HA. If a node goes down, sessions automatically move to a standby node. Details are covered in the Enterprise agreement.
Is training available for our IT team?
Yes — it's included with the installation package. We run an online session covering deployment, administration, and monitoring of the server. On-site training is available on request.
