Terms of Use
Effective date: June 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By installing or using Dragon Remote Desktop, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the application.
2. License to use
Free version: a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Pro version: purchasing a Pro license grants you the right to use the extended functionality on one device (Personal) or on the specified number of devices (Enterprise). The license may not be resold.
The license does not include rights to: copy the source code, reverse-engineer, create derivative products, sublicense, or transfer to third parties.
3. Prohibited use
You may not use Dragon Remote Desktop to:
- Gain unauthorized access to devices that aren't yours
- Distribute malicious software
- Violate the laws of any applicable jurisdiction
- Place excessive load on our server infrastructure
- Circumvent technical protection measures
4. Payment and refunds
Payments are processed through Tribute. Prices are listed in USD and may change with 30 days' notice.
Refunds: within 14 days of purchase, if the application's functionality doesn't match its description. To request a refund, contact support@dragondesktop.com with the purchase ID from your receipt email.
Personal subscriptions: do not auto-renew — you'll receive a reminder 14 days before expiry. If unpaid, the license reverts to Free.
5. Limitation of liability
The application is provided "as is." We are not liable for:
- Data loss during file transfer
- Damage from unauthorized access to your device (if you shared your Device ID and password with a third party)
- Service interruptions caused by rendezvous server unavailability
- Indirect, incidental, or special damages
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months.
6. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we'll notify you by email (if we have one on file) or via an in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
