Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between the 1-month / 1-year / 2-year plans?
Features are exactly the same across all of them. The only difference is the price: 1 month — $5 ($5/mo), 1 year — $49 ($4.1/mo), 2 years — $89 ($3.7/mo). The 2-year plan is the best value. The monthly plan is great for trying it out without a long commitment.
How do I renew my license — do I need to enter the key again?
No. 5–30 days before expiry (depending on your plan), we'll email you a "Renew" link. Click it to open the checkout page. Once payment succeeds, your existing license is automatically extended for the chosen period. No manual key transfer needed.
What's the "renewal link" in the reminder email?
It's a personal, one-time, digitally signed link. It opens the checkout page, and after purchase the system automatically attaches the payment to your specific license — no need to enter your email again, and no mix-ups between multiple keys. The link is valid for 7 days, and checkout must be completed within 30 minutes of clicking it.
Can I switch plans when renewing — e.g. from monthly to yearly?
Yes. The reminder email has a button for each plan: "Renew for 1 month," "Renew for 1 year," "Renew for 2 years." Pick the one you want — your license will be extended for that exact period. It's an easy way to switch to a better-value plan.
Is the "1-month" plan a subscription? Does it auto-renew?
No. All plans (1 month, 1 year, 2 years) are one-time payments with no auto-billing. When the term is about to end, we'll send a reminder — and it's entirely up to you whether to renew.
How do refunds work?
Within 14 days of purchase. Email support@dragondesktop.com with the subject "Refund" and include the purchase ID from your receipt email. Refunds are processed through Tribute within 3–7 business days.
Is my data safe — can the server see my screen?
No. Dragon Remote Desktop is P2P by design: the media stream (screen, input, files) goes directly between devices with end-to-end encryption. Our server is only involved in setting up the connection. Even the TURN relay only sees encrypted bytes.

What's included in Enterprise?
Enterprise is a single license key for N devices, a formal contract and invoice for your company, priority support, an SLA, and optional white-labeling. Get in touch: request form or sales@dragondesktop.com.
Do I need to register an account to buy?
No. After paying through Tribute, your license key arrives by email. Enter it in the app (Settings → License) and Pro activates instantly. An account is created automatically only if you want to sync your address book across devices.
Can we run your server on our own network?
Yes — that's the Enterprise option. Your server deploys inside your corporate network, and workstations never reach the internet. Learn more: our page for enterprise clients.
